Get back on track

This past weekend my parents brought my DR Brush Mower from back in Wisconsin so I could clear areas inside our yard and outside our fence that had become overgrown.
The mower can pretty much clear any area including trees up to about an inch and a half. After clearing the back corner of the yard, I started going around larger trees on a side hill and didn’t realize I was going right over a huge chunk of cut oak.
The machine abruptly stopped and I shut it down to inspect. The blade seemed to be moving ok so I started it again but the blade would not engage.
I took off the protective cover and found a belt system that seemed to be functioning but then I noticed a visual that showed how the belt should wrap around the pulleys - I needed to shift a spring loaded lever to put the belt back in place.
It was a relatively simple fix even with a clearly labeled picture to guide me. I was back to work aided by the DR Brush Mower’s powerful blade.
I got to thinking about we humans - ie, when we get stuck or face a roadblock, is there a simple fix with a picture to show us the way?
I searched for articles and found a few ideas including:
A Proven Game Plan for How to Overcome Life’s Roadblocks by Christopher Conners
And about 10,000 other articles and posts
All these different views reinforce that we humans are a bit more complex than a a simple belt and pulley system on a brush mower, but sometimes simple is a way to make sense of the world and give you a path forward that’s not overwhelming.
So if you are stuck, maybe start simple - Mind, Body, Spirit….
Read a book
Take a walk
Follow your faith’s teachings or meditate depending upon your beliefs
I would love to hear about your own experiences - overcoming obstacles with clearing brush and/or other roadblocks and challenges.
